Fondue de Chocolate

Spiced Chocolate Fondue

Enjoy this unusual spiced version of chocolate fondue with your favourite fresh fruit. Chocolate is not usually considered for its health giving properties, but research now tells us that chocolate is a source of flavonoids, valued for their anti-oxidant effect.

Ingredientes:

200 ml GLORIA Evaporated milk
200 g NESTLE Dessert Chocolate
1/4 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Cardamom, ground
1 Banana
1 Apple
2 Clementines

Preparation steps

Place the GLORIA evaporated milk in a fondue pot or saucepan and bring it to the boil.
Remove from the heat and add the chopped pieces of NESTLE Dessert chocolate. Leave for one minute and then stir well to obtain a smooth liquid.
Add the spices and mix well.
Place the fondue pot on its stand over the heating element. If using a saucepan re-heat the mixture gently before placing on a mat on the table.
Spear the fruit pieces on long handled forks and dip into the chocolate mixture and enjoy. If the mixture in the saucepan begins to solidify, re-heat over a gentle heat.
